Charter of Corporate Behavior

JCC acts in accordance with the “Charter of Corporate Behavior” as a company that contributes to society with creative technologies and aims to realize a sustainable society.
Our officers and employees will fulfill their corporate social responsibility by acting toward the realization of the principles of this Charter.

Compliance

To continue being a company trusted by society, it is important to comply with compliance regulations.
JCC's top management message is "We will never tolerate wrongdoing" and is conveyed to our company and group companies. We ensure that each and every officer and employee consider the importance of compliance to be their own responsibility and always acts with this message in mind.

Establishment of an internal reporting contact point

JCC has established an internal reporting system (internal contact point, external attorney contact point) for employees to report any organizational or personal violations of laws and regulations when they have discovered them.
In operating the system, we will assign and limit the persons in charge who will deal with the information which is reported and take care in handling the information, ensuring that whistleblowers are protected so that they will not be disadvantaged as a result of making reports.
Any information regarding the whistleblower, including the facts that they made reports, will not be used for any purpose except investigating the facts and reporting the situation to the whistleblower, and will be kept strictly managed.

Carbon Neutrality Initiatives

Recently, natural disasters have become more severe and common, and climate change has been occurring on a global scale. The international movement on climate change is accelerating, triggered by the “Paris Agreement” which is an international framework. It is becoming increasingly important for companies to contribute to the sustainable growth of society through their business activities.
As JCC’s "climate change measures", we are working towards achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by fiscal year 2050 in accordance with the Japanese government's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction policy.

Based on our company policy, "Contribute to society with creative technology ~ value time ~" and our environmental principles "Leave a clean Earth for the next generation of children," we recognize that our business activities have an impact on society and the environment, and we are responsible for contributing to a sustainable society.
In all aspects of our company activities, we always act with sincerity, high ethics and social common sense.

Safety

Our top management has established safety and health policies and is working to create a working environment where employees can work safely, comfortably, and healthily.

Efforts toward zero work-related accidents

We raise employee safety awareness through KY (hazard prediction) activities and are working to thoroughly implement safety measures throughout the company based on our safety and health policies.

Working environment

We place the highest priority on ensuring the safety and health of our employees and also create a comfortable and fulfilling working environment where employees can demonstrate their abilities. Furthermore, we continue to create an environment where all employees can work comfortably for a long time regardless of gender.

Health

We will implement regular health checks and specific health checks.

Mental health

We will conduct stress checks for the purpose of preventing mental health problems from occurring in advance by helping employees recognize, providing support to deal with stress and improving the work environment.

Human resources

JCC recognizes the importance of human resource development in the continuous growth of our company as one of our priority issues: "the acquisition and development of human resources and technology transfer.". We are working on establishing an education and training system that supports the growth of each employee and encouraging the creation and utilization of systems that enable employees to continue working for a long time. As a result, we try to develop and retain human resources.

We will continue to create an environment where all employees can work comfortably for a long time regardless of gender.

Childcare・Nursing care

We are working to create a working environment that makes it easier to take leave and benefit from systems for childbirth, childcare, and nursing care, and enabling employees to balance work and family more effectively.

Promotion of Taking Paid Leaves

We are working to create an environment where employees can easily take annual paid leave by setting recommended days for taking paid leave as well as recommended months for taking paid leave and encouraging employees to take leave.

Involvement in Quality

JCC has established a unique production technology through designing and manufacturing of production equipment in-house. Consequently, we are able to supply products at reasonable prices while maintaining high quality.

Satisfying Quality Requirements

Because the electrode foil and electrode tab material for capacitors use high-purity aluminum as a raw material, the quality is likely to be fluctuated depending on the environment, etc., require such a delicate handling; it can be through as a living creature.
To supply the same quality to customers at all the time, JCC has achieved highly accurate monitoring and management of process based on the data accumulated from product design to mass production and the experience cultivated over many years as a dedicated foil manufacturer. We are also working to improve quality so that customers can use our products with peace of mind for a long time when they actually use the products.
In 1994, the Chiba plant obtained quality certified (currently ISO9002) for the first time in the industry, and in 2001, the whole company obtained ISO9001: 2000 certified, then in 2020, we have obtained IATF16949 certification mainly at the Chiba factory.
We have achieved the provision of high-quality products through the integrated production system unique to JCC, from the development of production equipment to the supply. All plants have a 24-hour control, monitoring and management system to enable a stable supply of products that satisfy all quality, cost and delivery.

Designing Unique Production Equipment

JCC, which was founded as a consulting of aluminum electrolytic capacitor manufacturing in 1957, has performed the development and production of aluminum electrode foil manufacturing equipment in-house ever since our foundation, based on a core policy of “Speedily reflecting in the products with unique and ever-evolving aluminum electrode foil technology”. Further, currently all in-house brand production lines have years of technology.
The integrated system from product design to equipment design and production forms the ideal spiral of JCC`s technological evolution.
This has the merits of not only enabling rapid production, but also new product which is led by evolution of equipment. JCC electrode foil and electrode tab material for capacitors, which are relied on many customers, are produced due to the combined effects on the evolution of this technology and equipment.

JCC promises to create and implement environmental ideals and policies to perform business activities with consideration of the environment.

Responding to Global Environmental Protection

ISO14001 ISO14001

JCC has earnestly involved in environmental countermeasures since our foundation. For example, the Chiba plant has configured a zero-pollution system through the effective recycling of waste solutions created by the surface the surface processing of aluminum foil in the production of cleaning chemicals (concentrates). Further, Kambara Electrode Foil Plant, which is a joint venture with Nippon Light Metal, has reduced energy costs and achieved energy saving by using own hydroelectric generators. In addition, the idea of reducing the burden on the environment by reusing cleaning solutions in all processing lines is thoroughly inculcated. In 2004, the entire company obtained ISO14001 certification, and promised to create and implement environmental ideals and policies called “leaving a clean world to our children” by implementing business activities with consider the environment.
